Emotions at home at HOMI

Living spaces like diaries in which we can entrust our emotions. At HOMI, the Lifestyle Trade Fair scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 January 2019, the home will once again take centre stage alongside its accessories. Objects, fabrics, decorations, tableware, kitchenware and much more will narrate how trends are changing and what will be transforming our homes in the coming season.

Accessories for the home embody emotions: they’re romantic, fun, adventurous, nostalgic, practical and friends of nature. They defy time with the re-discovery of age-old traditions, which are made current in line with today’s tastes. The fusion between genres and personalisation is being progressively established: arts & crafts are being re-discovered and remaining true to Italian tradition, while audacious experimentation is anticipating the styles of tomorrow.
The fabrics in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom become canvases to represent our style. In addition to the above, fragrances for the ambient, chosen with the home owner’s personality in mind, complete the offering.

All of these trends and more will be explored at HOMI, thanks in part to WGSN, the company engaged in consumer trend research activities, which will enable us to anticipate how styles are likely to evolve. Moreover, in collaboration with Poli.Design, part of Sistema Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan, HOMI Hybrid Lounge, a space dedicated to the study of materials, has also been re-confirmed.

The home therefore lies at the centre of a continual ‘emotional revolution’ just waiting to be discovered. HOMI, the Lifestyle Trade Fair, will be taking place at fieramilano from 25 to 28 January 2019.
