In collaboration with the International Museum of Ceramics, Faenza and Ente Ceramica Faenza

After the success of Mano e Terracotta at Argillà 2014, made possible by the fruitful collaboration with Milan and Faenza City Councils, Milano Makers presents a new and structured project for the second edition of Sharing Design at the Fabbrica del Vapore.
The exhibition presents the result of the encounter between the culture of design, characteristic of designers, with the well-known productive and artistic capacities of the artisan ceramists of Faenza.
The work group made up of the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture of Faenza City Council, Massimo Isola, Claudia Casali, Director of the International Museum of Ceramics of Faenza, Cesare Castelli, President of Milano Makers and Maria Christina Hamel of the Executive Committee of the same association, as well as curator of the exhibition, has coordinated 20 established designers, 10 men and 10 women, who worked with the 20 most important ceramic workshops in Faenza on the production of objects with the theme of enamelled ceramic containers for food.
The collection is made up of 20 pieces.
The exhibition will have a second showing at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza and will become part of its permanent collection.
