From Memphis to Miami. Great success at Art Basel Miami

4 hours exactly, the time that From Memphis to Miami by the Massimo Iosa Ghini Architecture Studio was onstage at the Young Arts Foundation in Miami during Art Basel 2016.

On November 30th in the heart of Wynwood, the building designed by Ignacio Carrera-Justiz as the historic home of the Bacardi Museum hosted the design journey undertaken by Massimo Iosaghini from the early Memphis works created with Ettore Sottsass to the latest sketches for the Brickell Flatiron skyscraper which should be completed by the end of 2017 in Brickell, Miami and which is being built by the Italo-American developer Ugo Colombo.

4 intense hours that saw the participation of a large number of leading figures in Florida Real-Estate walking through this representation of Iosa Ghini’s artistic career ranging from including design prototypes that came directly from a private collection in California to watercolours and models of the latest architectural works. A 4 hour celebration of Italian design excellence that works even overseas.
