Official opening of the new Casa Alitalia lounge designed by Studio Marco Piva


 

Attended by Fabio Lazzerini, Alitalia chief commercial officer and revenue manager, Antonio Catricalà, president of Aereoporti di Roma, Vito Riggio, president of ENAC, Adriano Meloni, Campidoglio representative for tourism, and Alitalia administrator, Luigi Gubitosi, the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at 11:30, heralding the opening of the new Casa Alitalia lounge in the departures area E of Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

Studio Marco Piva, which was responsible for the project’s interior design, was represented by architects and designers Marco Piva and Armando Bruno.

The new lounge marks the third design project developed by Studio Marco Piva for Italy’s flagship airline, which will culminate in the overseas export of this format for the prestigious lounge at the New York JFK Airport.
