Platform TV architects interview: video interview a Plasma Studio

Platform TV: we met Plasma Studio

Sometimes formally daring projects seem to trade off deontological requirements to sophisticated sculptural geometries, thus shifting the natural balance of architecture towards the underlying reasons of figurative arts. In order not to deprive architecture of its role as generator of permeated spaces, it is necessary defining clear-cut guidelines and objectives, consistently inspiring marked deconstructivist impulses and the handcrafted monumentality of unique pieces towards a scale cleverly suiting the surrounding context and overall feasibility. In a nutshell, this is the mission pursued by Plasma Studio, an international practice set in the heart of the Dolomites and described by the partners Ulla Hell and Holger Kehne.
